CEO

Klaus Mauch, one of the company’s co-founders, became the CEO in 2004. In his previous role of the company’s CTO he was responsible for the design and development of Insilico’s modeling and simulation platform by establishing novel methods for computer aided construction of cellular networks. As a group leader at the Institute of Biochemical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Klaus Mauch gained extensive experience in metabolic engineering and applied systems biology. He received a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
